Pinnacle Group is looking to recruit an experienced Factory & Laundry Cleaner to join the B2B Team at our client's Specialty Chemistry Company based in Ellesmere Port CH65. Your role will involve working in the laundry department as well as deep cleaning industrial equipment, floors, and work areas, as well as handling specialised cleaning tasks. You will need to be detail-oriented, physically fit, and capable of working with cleaning equipment, chemicals, and within sensitive environments.
Due to the nature of work, this role requires a male-only cleaner. This exemption is claimed under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9. This does not affect any other candidate's rights. Additionally, the role requires submitting a monthly urine sample and quarterly blood sample for health and safety reasons.
We are offering a permanent contract, with working hours from 6AM to 2PM, Monday to Friday, with possible weekend cover. If you take pride in maintaining a safe and clean environment and have experience in industrial cleaning, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Performing cleaning tasks such as damp mopping, surface washing, sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning touchpoints.
- Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, kitchens, and dining areas.
- Cleaning toilet facilities, replenishing toilet paper, hand soap, and towels.
- Managing waste - collection, transportation, and storage for internal and external areas.
- Working in the onsite laundry department, providing clean workwear through sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding.
- Working effectively as part of a team and using own initiative.
Key requirements:
- Experience and attention to detail in cleaning services and equipment, with knowledge of COSHH, chemicals, and risk assessments preferred.
- Experience with buffer machines or scrubber dryers is an advantage.
- Ability to work to tight schedules.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment.
- Ability to start work at 6AM.
