Field Technician/HIGHWAYS MATERIALS (Audit & Inspection) (Home-based in England, UK) A new vacancy for a Field Technician/HIGHWAYS MATERIALS (Audit & Inspection) with leading provider of test, inspection & approval services for the Construction industry. The role will be home-based but require regular field visits to customer sites to provide technical assessement & inspection services (with full back and support from the company’s two UK offices). Candidates with Highways products experience in any of the following areas will be of particular interest: HIGH FRICTION SURFACING SYSTEMS, THIN SURFACING, CRACK & PATCH REPAIR SYSTEMS or MANHOLE REINSTATEMENT SYSTEMS. About You: The company is looking for a Field Technician/HIGHWAYS MATERIALS (Audit & Inspection) who is committed to excellence and playing a critical part in the business’ focus on serving its clients better. You must be comfortable working in a structured environment, but with the ability to adapt when necessary. You should also be able to work independently, or as part of a team, and have the confidence to suggest improvements to work more efficiently when necessary. Essential Responsibilities: To complete product assessments against the company’s highways scheme requirements, site investigation reports on defective installations, carry out general highways inspections on site, ensure compliance with pre-identified scheme requirements and deliver the required levels of productivity whilst maintaining the quality of inspections carried out.
