A Bit About Us Gamma is a leading supplier of Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS): we provide voice, data and mobile products and services to the UK, German, Spanish and Benelux business markets. Gamma is expanding its UCaaS presence in Europe with a family of businesses focusing on digital automation, delivering Gamma-powered services to SME customers via a network of channel partners in Germany, Spain, and the Benelux region. Who are we looking for? We are looking for a Head of PMO who can take on a key role in implementing and managing a PMO framework that supports project delivery and ensures alignment with the overall strategy across the decentralised structure of the Gamma group. This position will be responsible for overseeing governance and ensuring the successful delivery of Gamma’s business case and investment decision framework. In the pre-programme phase, the role involves formulating processes, conducting research, and analyzing potential major investment programmes for the business. This includes securing investment and developing robust business cases for approval by the Gamma ExCo and leadership teams. During the post-programme phase, the role ensures that Gamma’s retrospective processes are followed, with appropriate actions taken based on findings. What will you be doing day-to-day? Work with Senior Leadership across Gamma to support the construct of new internal or market-facing proposals with associated business case for investment which align to Gamma’s strategy. Support and drive decision-making at the senior ExCo and SLT level, ensuring effective frameworks, process and sufficient pre-work has been completed, prior to any major investment decisions. Ensure all investment agreed budget required to achieve success, from delivery to operating to marketing, is clearly aligned with the commitment to spend from relevant Cost Centre owners and incorporated into their budget management processes. Work with delivery colleagues across Gamma to set & provide best practice support and standards (including templates and processes) for project management and support successful local change delivery. Ensuring local project delivery supports Gamma strategy, adheres to agreed standards and follows established governance. Maintain a pipeline of post-programme implementation ensuring Gamma’s retrospective process is followed and corrective actions taken as necessary. Work with the Business Planning Director to design and propose tools, processes, and methodologies to support the role. Ensure all projects of work have documented artefacts and comply with internal audit requirements. Support Business Planning Director as required with any ad hoc key planning activity and annual budget and forecasting process. Build and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the business; keep them consulted and informed where needed. Lead, inspire and motivate cross-functional virtual teams. Establish and nurture the essential working relationships within teams, between teams and across organisational interfaces in support of positive and effective collaboration. What You’ll Need 10+ years of experience of Business Programme/Project management with a proven track record of seeking and securing investments on business opportunities. Experience in financial planning and investment. Proven Analysis and Research experience. Relevant certifications such as BCS, MSP, Prince2, AgilePM are preferred. Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously with experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Maintain and optimise vendor relationships, ensuring external partners deliver to the programme needs. Proven ability to manage cross functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and act tactically. Experience in delivery in Telecoms /IT /Technology sectors are preferred.
