Social network you want to login/join with: We are seeking an experienced Environment & Release Manager to support Release and Environment Management activities across Platform, Digital and Surround Technologies You will be responsible for defining, implementing and running Release and Environment management processes and procedures across our various Platform estates to include both in-house, 3rd party hosted and outsourced technologies. This will include, but not limited to, providing governance and oversight of outsourced and 3rd party hosted release management processes and implementations, and the planning and execution of deployments to Nucleus developed and hosted technology. You’ll spend your time: Leading and mentoring others, guiding them in delivering effective outcomes aligned with business needs. Managing resources on a 121-basis including management of performance and people issue with the team you are assigned. Line Management of Release Manager to include their performance management, objective setting, and training and development. Act as a liaison between the technology department and business stakeholders, fostering effective communication and understanding of project objectives. Impact assessing change to our Technology and coordinating the delivery and scheduling of the change & releases with both internal technical teams and external suppliers. Working with the Release Manager to ensure consistency of deployment planning and execution across all Technologies. Coordinate deployment activities on complex multi-component deliveries across internal and external teams through Test to Production. Define and Implement Deployment Management process and procedures across all areas of Technology. Educate and act as SME to embed process and behaviours across Technology. Managing and tracking Environment usage and coordination demand across multiple projects, releases, and stakeholders. Performing post Release/Deployment reviews and making recommendations to improve processes and outcomes. Producing MI/reporting associated with release and deployment volumes and success. Experience of defining and implementing Release and Environment frameworks for both internal and externally hosted technologies (including outsourced models if possible). Good understanding of Platform technology and working with 3rd party suppliers. Keen to take ownership and comfortable interfacing across multiple technology functions and teams. Drives consistency in process and continual improves process and outcomes. Self-starter who is comfortable defining and implementing new processes and frameworks and can educate and embed. Proven leadership experience. Good understanding of Platform technology, architecture. Previous experience in platform release, deployment, or configuration management roles. Proficiency in tooling such as JIRA, Excel, SharePoint, and Confluence. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and evaluate improvement options. Experience of defining and implementing processes and frameworks across multiple technology functions. Ability to influence and educate users and management. Experience of applying continuous improvement to enhance process and procedures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify risks and issues and work with stakeholders to mitigate these. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Confidence to use your own initiative and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritise and remain agile with conflicting work demands.
