Interim Head of Sustainability London 9-month Fixed Term Contract Circa £65,000 + Benefits We’re delighted to be partnering with a leading educational institution, to recruit and Interim Head of Sustainability. This is positions will lead on sustainability strategy, creating and managing initiatives and action plans to ensure targets are met. This is an excellent opportunity to make a genuine impact, working with a well-established team in a globally recognised institution. This role offers very flexible working but will primarily be based out of their head office in Central London. Responsibilities of the Head of Sustainability will include: Lead development of the sustainability strategy, driving this forward across the organisation and influencing decision making Update the environmental strategy, using this to ensure compliance, and communicating changes and initiatives throughout the organisation to ensure best practice Identify and analyse group-wide data, developing measurable action points which can be incorporated in objectives throughout the group Act as the main point of contact for the sustainability program with key stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulators The successful Head of Sustainability requires: Proven Environmental Sustainability Management experience, ideally within the property, housing, local government or related industries Strong technical knowledge across relevant sustainability legislations, compliance, and regulations Degree level qualification or equivalent, in an appropriate environmental discipline, and ideally hold a professional membership with a recognised environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM) A passion for excellence, and an ambition to lead the sustainability agenda within an industry leader For more information on this opportunity or to discuss your next career move, contact James Cox on or 01923 432 687, or apply here.
