First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Field Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain radio communication systems.
• Installation and servicing of IT applications.
• Provide Technical assurance to customers in the field, both on radio and associated IT infrastructure.
• Cover call out duties in support of customer maintenance contracts.
• Assist with the preparation tender documents when needed.
• Preparation of engineering reports, technical documentation, and training aids as required.
• Contribute where and when necessary for the good and benefit of the engineering department.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Good standard of education.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• DBS (Criminal Record Check).
• DMR/PMR software applications.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Willingness to work unsociable hours at short notice if needed.
