About the Role
As a Solar Electrician, youβll play a key role in installing, maintaining and commissioning domestic Solar PV systems and battery storage. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about renewable energy and looking to build a long-term career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and commission domestic Solar PV and battery storage systems
- Perform electrical wiring, testing and inspections to meet regulatory standards
- Diagnose and repair faults in renewable energy systems
- Ensure compliance with current wiring regulations and health & safety standards
- Complete necessary documentation and certification for installations
Requirements
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) β essential
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent and relevant Solar PV Qualifications β essential
- Testing and Inspection 2391 qualification
- Experience in the renewable energy sector β desirable
- Proven experience with Solar PV and battery storage systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid DBS check and CSCS card
