JOB DESCRIPTION About the role We have a new opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Repairs team on a full time, permanent basis in London. Reporting into the Repairs Delivery Manager, you will manage and support the Repairs team within the region. You will do this by managing the team’s productivity and quality of work, ensuring that relevant resources are in place and that Health and Safety regulations are adhered to. You will also provide a timely response to customer complaints. We’re a customer-focused organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You’ll not only be able to demonstrate the key criteria, but you’ll also have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done. Candidates must live within 10 miles of London to be able to reach all the locations in a timely manner. You must also have a full UK driving licence as you will be issued with a company van. Essential Skills/Experience: Proven operational experience in functional area. Proven experience of developing and implementing business improvements in a service delivery environment. Demonstrates the skills to manage complex programmes of work. Proven ability to analyse complex information and develop potential options and / or recommendations on the most appropriate course of action. Able to use data to improve decision making, leading, and navigating team members through ambiguity by making evidence and/or values-based decisions to prioritise strategically. Strong commercial, financial and analytical skills, working with the business to identify practical, performance improvement opportunities. Ability to influence at all levels of the business. Excellent oral and written communications. Demonstrates the Guinness Leadership and Management Standard. Essential Qualifications: Relevant Technical qualification – trade NVQ level 3 or equivalent. Desirable: NVQ Level 3 First Line Management. A recognised leadership and management qualification.
