Aneurin Bevan University Health Board supports flexible working. An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department for both full-time and part-time Back-up Medical Secretaries to join the Nevill Hall and Royal Gwent Hospital teams. We are looking for suitable candidates with a professional manner, keen, team players, and able to work independently to ensure that the Trust standards are adhered to. You will be required to provide comprehensive medical, secretarial, and administrative support to Consultants and nursing teams, primarily typing clinics but also covering duties of the medical secretaries as required.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking two experienced, highly motivated back-up medical secretaries to join the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Nevill Hall and Royal Gwent Hospitals. You will need to demonstrate excellent organizational skills, be flexible and adaptable, and work on your initiative. Use tact and diplomacy where appropriate and possess excellent communication skills. Audio typing skills are essential. Knowledge of hospital systems would be beneficial, although full training will be provided. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
