Tutors are required to:
- have strong knowledge of GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics
- deliver active lessons using a whiteboard in a classroom setting. Materials and workbooks are available for group and one-to-one lessons
- provide feedback to parents about their children’s progress
- inspire children through positive criticism
Skills and Experience Required:
The ideal applicant will be:

- passionate about teaching
- UK GCSEs with minimum grade 8 or equivalent for Science
- Must have at least one Science A Level
- Preferably doing a Science degree
- Must be an undergraduate or graduate
A DBS check certificate is required, must meet the following criteria: Less than 2 years old; Include child barred list; Position applied for must be within the child workforce sector.
(Note: If it doesn’t meet the criteria then Big Fish Tutors will need to apply for a new DBS on the candidate’s behalf, which the candidate is required to pay for)
