A typical day in the life of a Waiting Staff:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring they are seated comfortably and promptly attended to.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the hotelβs ordering system and relay them efficiently to the kitchen or bar.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge of menus, daily specials, wine lists, and allergen information.
- Ensure all tables are cleaned and reset quickly and efficiently for the next guests.
- Handle guest queries or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Restaurant Manager where needed.
- Assist with the preparation, restocking, and cleaning of the restaurant or bar before, during, and after service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with health and safety and food safety regulations.
- Support colleagues and contribute positively to team morale and the overall guest experience.
- Attend team meetings and training as required to continually improve service and performance.
What we are looking for:

- It would also be advantageous to hold a Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 1 or above), but not essential β training can be provided.
