Ganymede Solutions are working with one of the largest UK Train Operating Companies, who are seeking to recruit a Mobile Train Cleaner to join the train cleaning team based in Sheffield, covering multiple depots and stations across Yorkshire.
The Role:
As a Mobile Train Cleaner, your role will consist of deep and full cleans, from hoovering floors, replenishing/cleaning toilets, sanitising touch points, buffering and much more. Youβll be working in a team with other Mobile Train Cleaners, covering the following Yorkshire locations:
- Sheffield Station
- Doncaster Station
- Leeds Station
- Neville Hill Depot (Leeds)
- Holbeck Depot
- York Station
- Hull Botanical Gardens Depot & Station
- Skipton Station Sidings
Hours wise, it is a 20:00pm β 06:00am night shift role, working the following shift patterns:
- 4 on 4 off
- 5 on 5 off
Remuneration & Benefits:
This rail company has on offer the following for contract staff:
- Β£13.05p/h rate
- Progression routes β Our client is hiring into their business on a permanent basis after an initial phase on a 6-month contract. Once permanent you will then receive opportunities to further progress your career in a range of positions such as train presentation, engineering, customer service and more.

Requirements:
- Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test
- Be able to pass a full rail medical β this will include, sight, hearing, colourisation, heart, lungs, brain, etc.
- Provide your Right to Work documents before deployment
- Happy to help mentality/attitude
- A decent fitness is needed as the site is very large and will involve a lot of walking, so please keep this in mind when applying.
