The team operates on a modern cloud stack including GCP and AWS, utilizing Python, deep learning frameworks, and front-end technologies like React and GraphQL.

Your Role

This role is pivotal in repositioning data governance as a strategic asset that drives business advantage. Reporting to the Head of Data Enablement, you will help develop and implement data governance strategies that protect data and foster its ethical, effective use.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Transforming data governance from a compliance function into a business enabler.
2. Communicating the value of data governance to stakeholders.
3. Developing strategies, metrics, and frameworks for data governance.
4. Leading data management topics such as Data Quality, Privacy, and Data Management.
5. Collaborating with Data Protection, Cyber Security, and other teams to ensure best practices.
6. Implementing and maintaining data governance policies, roles, and responsibilities.
7. Conducting reviews and reporting on data governance maturity and risks.

What We’re Looking For

A passionate team player with significant experience in implementing data governance frameworks, able to tailor approaches to our business needs. You should understand core data management practices and regulatory requirements like GDPR and CCPA. Experience with Data Governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, or Atlan is preferred.
