As an Associate or Vice President in our Rates Sales team, you will have the opportunity to proactively manage and support key accounts, executing all fixed income products for our diverse client base. Our team works with UK Bank Treasuries, SSAs, Pension Funds, and Insurance clients. Your primary focus will be structured UK sales over a combination of Banks, Pension Funds and Insurance clients.
Job responsibilities:
- Work with our partners in trading Syndicate and research to provide comprehensive client coverage including fulfilling client requests for market updates.
- Assist with the execution of client trades and provide clients with market intelligence.
- Conduct trade execution process including pitching trade ideas, new issue order taking and general sales across the desk.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- You demonstrate prior experience in fixed income sales for Bank Treasuries is a prerequisite (those with experience on the client-side in a PM role will also be considered).
- You demonstrate eagerness and motivation to perform and gain responsibility and ownership.
- You have proactive character and intrinsic motivation to become and remain a market leader.

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
