We’re working on behalf of a global FMCG business looking for a Channel Director to take ownership of their wholesale and convenience strategy. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving performance across a diverse customer base, from large-scale wholesalers to leading high-street convenience operators. Managing a significant nine-figure P&L and leading a capable team, you’ll shape and deliver the long-term commercial roadmap for this strategically important channel.
The Role
- Set and lead the commercial strategy across the UK wholesale and convenience channels, driving sustainable growth.
- Manage a varied and complex customer base including national wholesalers and convenience retailers.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering strong customer relationships and a results-driven culture.
- Own annual planning and delivery of Joint Business Plans (JBPs), pricing strategy, and promotional execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with category, supply chain, and brand teams to deliver seamless execution and channel differentiation.
- Influence at the highest levels, both internally and externally, to ensure strategic alignment and commercial success.
