Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of a mixed secondary school with sixth form, seeking a dedicated and dynamic Health and Social Care Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive school community in South Liverpool. This is a full-time maternity cover position, to start immediately until Christmas 2025, with the potential for extension.
About the Role:
- Deliver Health and Social Care across Key Stages 4 and 5 (BTEC/CTEC or equivalent).
- Teach students aged 14-18, supporting both academic development and vocational understanding.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, marking, assessment and progress monitoring.
- Engage students through practical, real-world applications of content and inspire those interested in health and social professions.
About You:
- A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS), or experienced instructor with relevant teaching experience in Health and Social Care.
- Confident in delivering BTEC or similar vocational qualifications.
- Able to build strong rapport with students and manage a lively classroom effectively.
- Organised, proactive and ready to contribute to a busy school environment.
