We are partnering with a leading construction industry player, specialising in the design and construction of timber-framed homes. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, our client is seeking a talented Technical Coordinator to join their accomplished team in Sheffield.
As a Technical Coordinator you will:
- Coordinate drawings and work to ensure no scope gaps in design or construction occur.
- Act as the primary liaison between design, production, and site teams to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of technical drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with design teams to ensure that timber frame drawings meet project requirements and timelines.
- Oversee the management and control of drawing revisions, ensuring updates are communicated to all relevant parties.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of internal processes, design standards, and product improvements.
What we are looking for:
- Resilient, driven, future focused, conscientious, reliable, creative and flexible.
- Be able to run or step up to be responsible for design and technical function.
- Proven experience as a Timber Frame Designer for 3+ years.
- In-depth understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
- Software skills in either MiTek, Consultec, Steico or industry equivalents.
