Transport and Hire Coordinator

I am please to be working with my new client in Somerset, who are a leading provider in their industry. They are looking to recruit a Transport & Hire Coordinator for their site in Somerset on a permanent basis.

The duties of the Transport and Hire Coordinator will include:

• Providing a high level of customer service
• Processing customer requests and enquiries
• Quoting and negotiating rates
• Maintaining strong relationships with key customers
• Compiling reports
• Obtaining new business
• Raising purchase orders
• General administration
• Attending meetings with other departments

The ideal candidate for the role will be:

• Highly organised
• Have transport planning experience
• Previous sales experience would be beneficial
• Excellent communication and customer service experience
• Good experience with Excel, outlook, word
