Lead and Shape Investment Management Data Strategies in London

Are you an experienced leader with a deep understanding of Investment Management data and platforms? Do you excel at guiding teams and driving impactful data management solutions for complex financial institutions? If so, an exciting opportunity awaits you to join a dynamic and expanding team in London.

As a Manager, you will:

• Lead and manage teams of consultants in the delivery of data management solutions for Investment Management clients.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data-focused workstreams within large-scale platform implementation projects.
• Engage directly with client stakeholders to understand their data challenges and strategic objectives.
• Provide expert guidance and direction on data governance, data quality, data migration, and data integration strategies.
• Leverage your understanding of the Investment Management business to ensure data solutions align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development of data management methodologies and best practices within the team.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Contribute to business development activities and the shaping of new opportunities.

What you\’ll bring:

• Significant leadership experience within data management, ideally within the Investment Management sector.
• A strong track record of successfully leading teams and delivering complex data-centric projects.
• Deep understanding of data management principles, methodologies, and technologies relevant to Investment Management.
• Proven experience in delivering within large programmes, particularly those involving Data Management platforms (e.g., Aladdin) or similar IM systems.
• A solid understanding of the Investment Management business, including knowledge of security types, issuers, and industry operations, with a specific focus on data implications.
• Experience in areas such as data strategy development, data architecture design, and the implementation of data governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with relevant Data Management platforms such as Markit EDM, GoldenSource, and Kimball is highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• A pragmatic approach to problem-solving and a strong focus on delivering tangible results.
