Primary SEND Teacher required for a vibrant mainstream primary school which provides exceptional provision for a range of SEND students through its Complex Needs Unit and Resource Base. The school strives to ensure that students' needs are at the heart of every decision made, to ensure that they are happy, safe and confident in school.
About the role:
- Full-time, permanent from September '25
- Teaching primary students across a range of ages and abilities
- Teaching responsibilities include: planning, marking and assessing in line with National Curriculum requirements
- Working as part of a team with support from across the wider Trust which specialises in SEND
- Experience of using IEPs and carrying out CYP assessments
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (support available for an ECT) or ENIC (was NARIC) and right to work (overseas teachers only)
- Possess a valid DBS on the update service (or we can process one for you)
- Have an understanding of a range of Special Education Needs
- Be a reflective, empathetic and engaging classroom practitioner with the desire to make a real difference to pupils' lives
- Be able to easily build a rapport across the wider school community
