The predicted salary is between 27500 - 32000 £ per year.
This role is with a client in the building materials manufacturing industry. You will be reporting to the Commercial Director, and you will manage the internal sales functions, support current customers with queries and specifications, whilst working alongside operations and the estimating team.
Internal Sales Manager responsibilities:
- Achieve agreed sales targets.
- Manage, nurture, and grow existing and new accounts.
- Customer contact and care through communication and visits (when needed).
- Work with clients on:
- Technical support where and when appropriate.
- Preparation of quotes/sampling.
- Liaise with various manufacturing units (Operations, Customer Service, Estimating, Production & Finance).
- Join customer visits when required.
- Work alongside and liaise with the customer service team to ensure customer support is maintained at the highest level.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Ideally, knowledge of Building materials and processes, although training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Competence in IT is essential.
- Self-disciplined and with a strong desire to achieve.
- Proven commercial instinct and ability.
- The ability to work under pressure and achieve targets and deadlines.
- Essential to function both as an individual and part of a team.
Internal Sales Manager Package:
- £33,000 - £38,000.
- Yearly Bonus.
- Training, development, and progression.

Internal Sales Manager experience:
- Sales experience – 3+ years – essential.
- Construction or Building Materials experience – essential.
- AutoCAD – advantageous.
