A London-based Family Office are looking for an exceptional Investment Analyst to join their growing investment team.

We are seeking an analytical, results-oriented professional who wants to accelerate their career in alternative investments. An Investment Analyst performs a key role within our transaction team, with comprehensive exposure to:
- Private equity transaction execution;
- Portfolio management;
- Value creation initiatives;
- Public equities investing.
Job Responsibilities
- Financial Modelling & Investment Analysis – assist with development of comprehensive financial models employing LBO, DCF, and comparable company methodologies to evaluate investment opportunities and projected returns. Coordinate actions in line with changes made by the Investment Committee.
- Due Diligence Management – assist on comprehensive due diligence processes, synthesise financial performance, operational capabilities, and market positioning into concise investment recommendations.
- Deal Execution – support transaction structuring, term sheet negotiation, and documentation processes.
- Portfolio Management – deliver regular financial analysis and operational KPI evaluation for portfolio companies. Act as a key liaison with relevant parties to track and report quarterly performance, alongside preparation of investor marketing materials.
- Material Preparation – support on drafting presentation materials for use in M&A and capital markets transactions or strategic client dialogue. Conduct data collection and analysis and prepare investment committee materials.
- Sourcing & Idea Generation – assist with public securities idea generation and cultivate private equity deal origination capabilities.
- Project Management – drive operational improvements and support on subsequent deployment across the Firm. Handle related enquiries and liaise with the wider team.
Skills and Requirements
- Degree holder with previous experience at a Top-Tier Investment Bank;
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ professional experience (excluding internships etc);
- Experience in dealing with clients and other transactional advisors;
- Proficient in building pitch decks and other presentation materials;
- High proficiency in financial analysis and modelling.
First class numerical and analytical skills, with very good attention to detail. Entrepreneurial drive, as well as commercial awareness and acumen. Superb English, proof-reading skills, exceptional attention to detail whilst always maintaining the highest standards. Confidence in working across time zones. High degree of emotional intelligence alongside exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable in a client-facing role. Desire to work in a collegiate and dynamic team, to be a true team player with a ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude. Collaborative with a can-do mindset.
