Our client, a leading independent estate agency and chartered surveyor in Norfolk, is seeking an MRICS qualified Rural Practice Chartered Surveyor to join their ambitious, engaging, and supportive team. Position Overview

The Rural Practice Chartered Surveyor will play a crucial role in providing expert consultancy services for rural and residential properties, including valuations, environmental stewardship, grant applications, and sales and lettings. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and fellow professionals to deliver high-quality services and contribute to the agency's growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct valuations for secured lending, taxation, and estate planning
  • Manage environmental stewardship and grant applications for clients
  • Oversee contract farming and compensation claims
  • Facilitate sales and lettings of rural properties
  • Prepare farm business tenancy agreements and grazing licences
  • Advise on rural planning and diversification strategies

Requirements

  • MRICS qualified with Level 3 Valuation at APC
  • Full member of the CAAV with FAAV status
  • Strong rural background and practical understanding of agriculture
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in client interactions
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Full UK Drivers Licence and access to personal transport
