Ductwork Project Manager

Ductwork Project Manager oversees all aspects of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) construction project, ensuring its completion on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards by managing subcontractors, coordinating materials, interpreting technical plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations, while providing technical expertise to the project team throughout the construction process. Key responsibilities of an Ductwork Project Manager: * Project Planning and Execution: * Review and interpret HVAC drawings and specifications to understand project requirements. * Develop detailed project schedules and timelines, including material procurement and labor allocation. * Manage project budgets and track expenditures to ensure cost control. * Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project flow. * Technical Expertise: * Possess in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including design principles, installation methods, and equipment selection. * Ensure proper installation techniques are followed by subcontractors, adhering to industry standards and local codes. * Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during construction. * Site Supervision and Quality Control: * Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential problems, and ensure quality workmanship. * Address quality concerns and implement corrective actions when necessary. * Verify compliance with safety regulations and enforce safety protocols on the construction site. * Client Communication and Relationship Building: * Maintain open communication with clients, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing concerns promptly. * Collaborate with clients and design teams to ensure project meets their expectations. * Team Management: * Lead and motivate the project team, including subcontractors, to achieve project goals. * Delegate tasks effectively and provide necessary training and support to team members.
