Our client is a multi-sector alternative lender that helps mid-sized SMEs grow by providing consistent, timely, flexible funding solutions. They provide loans using pioneering in-house data, personal relationships, and a pragmatic and flexible lending process.
As Platform Owner, you will lead the technology platform teams to provide stability & take ownership for the run, change and strategic development of the core technology platforms working with teams across the entire organisation, helping to shape and maximise the value from technology, process and people. You will have end-to-end accountability for the technology platforms within the business, responsible for managing demand.
Key Responsibilities at a glance:
- Work with various stakeholders to understand their needs from each of the technology platforms, ensuring prioritising time accordingly
- Interrogate, analyse and shape requirements to provide strategic direction based on the technical platforms' capabilities and extended technology estate
- Ensure that for all platforms we create, own and maintain a technical backlog
- Have a strong understanding of the nCino development and architecture best practices
- Day to day oversight of the platforms including user management, configuration, availability and performance.
- Comfortable showcasing the platform(s) core capabilities and developed functionality to a range of stakeholders
- Ability to work within a Change Framework to ensure that change is understood, well governed and executed.
Skills:
- Expert in configuration, development and management of nCino.
- Experience in project delivery within Financial Services
- Experience in technical project delivery
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborate with and instruct 3rd party partners on the delivery of solutions
- Line management, including hiring and review of individual performance
- Strategic thinking able to demonstrate the art of the possible for future state Technical Platform with roadmap on how to get there.
Beneficial but not essential experience:
- Broader knowledge of Financial Service Technologies in the UK market
- Knowledge of business improvement, analytical and continuous improvement techniques (e.g. EFQM, Six SIGMA, Lean SIGMA)
- Full stack development background with experience in software integration and database management
