The Role
As Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational and strategic financial performance. This is a hands-on position suited to someone with strong analytical acumen and a people-first leadership style. Key areas of focus include:
- Enhancing financial transparency by delivering clear, data-led insights to inform strategic decision-making
- Streamlining financial reporting processes for greater efficiency and accuracy
- Supporting scalable growth by ensuring finance systems and processes evolve in line with the business
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the finance team to build capability and confidence
- Driving cost efficiencies and operational improvements across the organisation
About You
Weβre looking for a fully qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with:
- A stable and progressive career history β ideally already operating as a Finance Manager
- Strong experience in management accounting, intercompany transactions, and working with multicurrency environments
- A background in an SME setting, where adaptability and broad responsibilities are the norm
- A calm, personable approach with excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
