We are working with a global inspection and certification leader providing environmental services ranging across air quality, risk management and bioscience fields. We seek an experienced Environmental or Ecology consultant with commercial acumen to play a key role in our client's services, providing expert advice on Natural Capital, reviewing the strategic and corporate nature risk of the company's projects. The position will be at senior or principal level.
The ideal candidate will have former experience at multidisciplinary consultancies within the natural and built environments and hold excellent business development skills.
Responsibilities- Be the technical reference in Natural Capital subject matter with a strong background in either biodiversity, ecology, sustainability.
- Hold strong commercial acumen to lead the definition of the current and future markets, whilst keeping ahead of the Natural Capital trends and legislation.
- Provide tender responses to client requests and establish strong relationships with them.
Our client is looking for a professional with extensive Natural Capital expertise, with a relevant degree in ecology, environmental or sustainability. The successful candidate will have strong ecology assessments experience as well as proven business development skills to grow those markets. Management experience will be beneficial, but not essential.
What is OfferedThe position is based in London on a hybrid basis, and flexibility can be discussed for candidates further afield. The salary is ranging from £60,000 to £65,000 with excellent company benefits (pension, medical insurance, etc.)
