You’ll be working for a financial institution in the City, delivering first and second line IT support to users in a high-pressure trading floor environment. You’ll be the face of IT for front and back office teams — solving problems on the spot, keeping systems live, and supporting everything from desktops to market data feeds.
What you’ll be doing:- Supporting trading desk and back office users in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Managing support tickets end-to-end — from logging to closure
- Installing and maintaining desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
- Supporting collaboration tools like O365, Teams, Exchange and more
- Collaborating with infrastructure, telecoms, and networking teams
- Assisting the Trade Floor Support Lead and contributing to ad hoc projects
- Experience supporting trading or financial services users
- Familiarity in supporting electronic trading, and market data technology in both Front and back office situations.
- Proven experience supporting Windows 10/11 desktops in a professional environment
- Strong hands-on skills with O365, Exchange, Teams, Mimecast
- Experience with PC imaging and deployment tools (SCCM, InTune)
- Confident working with Dell, Lenovo, HPE trade floor hardware
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Strong grasp of ITIL processes
- Familiarity with market data and trading apps is a nice-to-have
