Job Description Lead and develop the Certification Integrity strategy to ensure BRCGS continues to be market- leading in meeting the needs of global stakeholders in ensuring trust and confidence in BRCGS Programmes. Drive delivery of BRCGS strategy relevant to the Certification Integrity programme and initiatives, with a strong focus on risk Develop and continually improve systems to supervise Delivery Partner performance to ensure BRCGS audits are undertaken with integrity and consistency With a focus on teamwork and support, drive improvement in Delivery Partner performance Provide expertise and data to support requests and requirements of key stakeholders, both internal and external Provide leadership to the Certification Integrity team, setting and supervising objectives in line with the BRCGS Strategy Support overall business initiatives and improvements with the provision of certification integrity data Keep abreast of market intelligence and competitor analysis, in order to consider potential impact to BRCGS in relation to Certification Integrity, and to take preventive action if applicable Work across internal partners of LGC to ensure Certification Integrity processes are implemented, promoted, understood and up to date as relevant Qualifications Leadership skills and confidence to influence and inspire change and improvement An in-depth knowledge of the auditing sector and third-party certification and its role in the consumer product and food industry Degree or equivalent experience in food or related bioscience Proven experience in the food and/or related industries either in Quality/Technical Management roles within certification, accreditation or standards management High level of working understanding of ISO 17065 and ISO 17021 Practical experience of BRCGS or other GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) recognised schemes Practical lead auditor experience and lead auditor training such as ISO9001or ISO22000 Additional Information Our values PASSION CURIOSITY INTEGRITY BRILLIANCE RESPECT Equal opportunities We truly believe that all candidates and employees should be valued for their individual talents – but data suggests that underrepresented people will avoid applying unless they meet the full criteria of the job advert.
