Job Title: Maintenance ElectricianLocation: GlasgowSalary: Up to £42,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician with an electrical bias looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and deliver high-quality maintenance services to a range of FM clients.
Main duties will include:
- Conduct routine electrical maintenance, including inspection, testing, and repairs ofwiring, fixtures, and electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and fix electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Perform installation and upgrade work on electrical systems, including lighting, powerdistribution, and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Collaborate with other trades and maintenance teams on larger projects.
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance, ideally in a commercial or residential
- setting.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Inspection and testing (EICR)
