Are you a seasoned consultant ready to step into your first Director-level role—where you’ll lead delivery, shape strategy, and help build a modern consultancy from the ground up? Or are you already operating at Consulting Director level, but looking for something leaner, faster, and more meaningful than the big-firm status quo? Come join this fast-growing London consultancy delivering AI-powered transformation for some of the UK’s most complex organisations—from the NHS and BT, to private equity-backed scale-ups and national infrastructure operators.
They are now hiring a hands-on Consulting Director to help them scale—someone who blends structured delivery, sharp consulting acumen, and commercial drive, and who thrives in real-world change environments.
What You’ll Do Day-to-Day
This is a hybrid delivery and leadership role. You’ll be deeply embedded in transformation work, while also shaping their growth strategy. Core responsibilities:
- Own and run agile ceremonies as Scrum Master or Agile PM
- Build and maintain RAID logs, backlogs, and structured project documentation
- Collaborate with clients on process mapping, AI/RPA feasibility, and automation opportunity discovery
- Contribute to (or lead) new business proposals
The Toolkit You’ll Bring
They’re looking for someone with strong delivery fundamentals and the ability to flex between consulting, project management, and innovation. You’ll likely bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in consulting (Big 4, boutique, or mid-size)
- Experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, or Senior Consultant—with real delivery time under your belt
- Process improvement mindset: familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and operations design
- Bonus points for hands-on exposure to RPA, low-code, or AI-driven change
- Strong client-facing communication and structured thinking
- A proactive, commercial mindset: spotting opportunities and helping us grow
Why Join?
They’re building a consultancy that does more than deliver slides and frameworks. They’re here to:
- Solve real operational problems using AI, automation, and smart design
- Bridge the gap between strategy, delivery, and lasting client outcomes
They want people who enjoy the craft of consulting as much as the outcome. People who are humble, curious, delivery-focused—and excited to co-build something ambitious.
The Setup
- Equity potential as the firm scales
- Remote-first, with 1 day/week in Paddington
- Commission/bonus tied to new business wins
