We are looking for a Material Planner to join a leading manufacturing company for a 12 month contract. In this role, you will manage production schedules, maintain inventory levels, and ensure timely procurement of materials and services. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in production planning and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Scheduling: Create and manage production orders based on sales forecasts and business needs.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels for materials and parts, ensuring everything is available for production.
- Pick List Generation: Prepare and issue lists for warehouse and production teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Transaction Monitoring: Ensure all production and material transactions are accurately recorded in the MRP system.
