7.5t Driver

Flexible People Ltd is seeking experienced 7.5T delivery drivers for a well-known company based in East Kilbride. Your role will be to efficiently deliver wholesale cleaning products to commercial businesses. This is a multi-drop role delivering cleaning products. Please note that with this role, you may be required to work in vehicles of different sizes such 3.5t vehicles but the pay rate will remain the same. This is a full time Monday to Friday position. Job Overview: As an HGV Driver, you will: – Report to the depot each morning, where your vehicle will be preloaded with various products. – Complete 20+ multi-drop deliveries per shift, ensuring accuracy at each stop. – Handle pallet deliveries and operate a tail lift occasionally(experience preferred but not essential). – Perform heavy lifting and handballing, requiring good physical fitness. – Provide excellent customer service, as you will be representing the company. – Please note, some of these deliveries may be in cities and other busy towns. Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must: – Be over 21 years old – Hold a valid CPC and Tacho card – Have at least one year of recent experience driving a 7.5T vehicle. – Have no more than 6 penalty points (No DD, DR, or NI convictions) – Be fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking) – Be physically fit, as the role involves manual handling Working Hours & Pay: – Monday to Friday – Start time: 0600am starts – 9 – 11 hour shifts – £13.71 per hour Additional Information: – Full-time availability is required. – – Please note, you may sometimes be required to drive a 3.5t van (you will be paid as 7.5T but expected to drive smaller vehicles. – You must own black or navy smart work trousers, a t-shirt, a high-vis vest, and safety boots. – Pre-employment electronic paperwork must be completed before starting.
