We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Materials Planner to join a fast-paced and innovative food manufacturing environment in East Riding. This is a key role in ensuring smooth production by overseeing the planning and availability of ingredients and packaging materials on site.
About the Role:
- Take full responsibility for the planning of all site materials (packaging & ingredients)
- Maintain accurate data and analyse recipes to ensure all material requirements are captured
- Collaborate closely with operations and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of stock
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies to prevent production delays
- Support continuous improvement across planning processes and stock control
- Liaise with production, logistics, purchasing and customer service teams
- Generate daily, weekly and monthly KPIs for internal reporting
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a materials or production planning role (ideally within food or FMCG)
- Strong attention to detail with a hands-on, solution-focused mindset
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple departments
- Confident using planning/ERP systems and Excel for stock and data management
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
