About the Role / Role Overview:

As a KS2 Teacher, you will deliver inspiring and differentiated lessons that cater to a broad range of learning needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong command of the KS2 curriculum and have the ability to foster high standards of attainment, behaviour, and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across the KS2 phase.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes pupil engagement.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans that adhere to national curriculum objectives.
  • Track and assess pupil progress, using data to inform future teaching.
  • Establish productive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives and participate in staff development opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Prior experience teaching in Key Stage 2 is highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the KS2 curriculum, assessments, and age-related expectations.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
