About the role

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Coachbuilder to join our busy mechanical engineering team in Taunton. We\’ll provide your overalls and equipment needed to get the job done.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting accident bodywork repairs
• Windowrepairs
• Diagnosing body faults
• Performing collision and vandalism repairs
• Addressing routine inspection findings and defect cards
• Painting minor bodywork repairs
• Handling fibreglass bodywork
• Carrying out repairs and maintenance to interior body components
• Documenting repairs for third-party insurance claims

Location: Taunton

Hourly Rate: £16.71

Working Hours: 39 hours per week, day shifts Monday–Friday

About you

• Do you have a minimum level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent, with proven coach building experience?
• Do you have welding experience?
• Full driving licence is preferred
• Have you working experience in vehicle accident repair and painting for PSV/HGV vehicles?
• A PCV licence isn\’t essential, we can support you in gaining it
