Security Architect

We are seeking a Security Architect to join an expanding niche End User Compute (EUC) IT MSP, leading the modernisation of secure digital workplaces with next-generation security principles for high-profile UK government departments, supporting over 20,000 users.
This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies across identity, cloud security, and device management within an innovative, agile, and highly collaborative team.
As Security Architect, you will lead the secure design, assessment, and assurance of device and end point secure solutions , as part of a key Machinery of Government project, specifically the Developer Device Solution , aligned with government and NCSC security principles.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Experience in security architecture within the EUC space.
- Proven ability to design and deliver cybersecurity architecture in Central Government or regulated environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of securing developer endpoints .
- Experience designing secure architectures for CI/CD and DevOps pipelines (e.g., Github, Gitlab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
- Understanding of End point Detection and Response (EDR), SIEM, MDM, and policy enforcement tools.
- Familiarity with NCSC Cloud Security Principles and Government Security Classifications.
- Experience with Zero Trust models and secure identity architectures.
- Security Clearance.
Advantages include CISSP, CISM, SABA certifications; experience with Intune, Workspace One, Jamf, Crowdstrike, or other endpoint tools; and familiarity with Agile or DevSecOps methodologies.
