Role Description

• To lead and develop the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) activity and team, including supporting the strategic development of the funding platform. Oversee, and where necessary lead, DCM transactions covering i) private warehouse, ii) public securitisations, iii) forward flow and iv) portfolio sales. Particular focus will be to support the new lending opportunities by managing and developing financing opportunities and relationships. Furthermore, the role requires the management and delivery of improved efficiencies and strengthening the risk / control framework.

Role Requirements

• Treasury experience gained within an established financial services organisation
• Significant exposure to the UK mortgage market including 1st and 2nd lien lending and bridging finance
• Significant experience of both public and private securitisation structures
• Understanding of interest rate risk hedging strategies
• Track record of initiating best practice and developing a pro-active DCM function
• Demonstrable experience of managing investor and bank relationships
• Experience of developing innovative solutions to facilitate growth with appropriate controls
