Our Client is seeking a Lead Safety Engineer to work on a Heavy Oil project for an initial 8 month contract role.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 10 years related experience, with average experience of 20+ years.
  • Experience in leading project teams on FEED or EPC projects.
  • Expert level understanding of several areas of Technical Safety and Environmental scope, with a good understanding of all other areas.
  • Able to check and confirm completeness of deliverables including safety layouts and reports.

JOB SCOPE:

  • Provide technical direction over the group with responsibility for progress and productivity over Project deliverables and activities.
  • Lead a sizeable technical safety and environmental team.

DURATION: 8 months initially

LOCATION: The role will be based on 5 days a week in our Clients Offices in Surrey. Hybrid working may be possible with 4 days in office and one day remote.

RATE: £70.00 - £73.00 per hour Ltd co rate

If the role is likely to be outside of IR35 the final decision will only be made after a QDOS assessment which you will need to undertake at your own cost.
