Kirkburton Health Centre is seeking a part time (16 hours)Clinical Coder.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience as aClinical Coder or similar position, have a good general education. We areseeking someone who has good teamwork, and high attention to detail.
There is some flexibility in the days and hours offered forthe right candidate, however, please note you must be available on Mondays andFridays.
Main duties of the job
Clinical coding of patientmedical records from hospitals and clinical correspondence.
Accurately read-coding data onSystmOne into the patient record
Identifying relevant clinicalinformation documented in patient correspondence, coding appropriately andcompleting any detailed actions.
Review all clinical lettersensuring they are processed appropriately, in line with protocols.
File and store records asrequired.
Action all incoming emails andmail in a timely manner in relation to clinical coding.
Scanning of patient relateddocumentation and attaching scanned documents to patient healthcare records.
Input and extract data asrequired to support practice reports.
