Site Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor

Role summary: Cleaners are responsible for performing detailed cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and hygienic environment in our manufacturing facility. The cleaning team carry out facilities duties in both the office and shop floor production areas.

Mandatory Responsibilities

• Adherence to all Company policies, management systems and standard operating procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
• Working positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
• Promote and display the G&H values: Customer focus, Integrity, Action, Unity, Precision.

Responsibilities

• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, toilet and shower cleaning etc.).
• Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels).
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs.
• Be responsible for the day to day appearance of the site.

Skills and Abilities

• Chemical Awareness.
• Ability to use heavy industrial cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
