Location: Reading
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 basic | OTE up to £70,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Shift pattern:Monday-Friday

Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in logistics? We\’re looking for a driven Sales Executive to join a well-established provider in the logistics sector. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives
• Identify, engage, and convert new client opportunities within the logistics space
• Manage the complete sales cycle – from prospecting to closing deals
• Conduct outbound calls and telemarketing campaigns to generate leads
• Collaborate closely with internal operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Tailor logistics solutions to meet specific client requirements
• Represent the company at industry exhibitions and association meetings

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years\’ sales experience in logistics in the UK (haulage and/or courier), ideally with knowledge of ADR/dangerous goods
• Must be eligible to work in the UK and provide proof of 5 years\’ UK residency
• Proficiency in managing the sales process, including use of CRM systems and bid documentation
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proven track record of closing sales and managing key accounts
• Proactive approach to daily sales activity and pipeline development
• Highly organised, self-managed, and able to work to deadlines and compliance standards
