Join MiQ as a key operational leader, driving strategic innovation across our UK Trading practice. As the UK Trading Director, you will oversee a 25+ member team, shaping MiQ’s programmatic trading success while maximizing business impact and client performance. This role sits at the core of MiQ’s UK leadership and culture, blending financial acumen with market expertise to elevate our reputation as industry leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Business Performance
    • Set the strategy and lead work streams for Trading to achieve quarterly and annual financial targets - delivering booked revenue and profit with operational rigor.
    • Balance immediate financial objectives with long-term market opportunities to maximize key channel growth and client retention.
    • Manage the profit forecasting process across the UK business to feed into the UK weekly performance updates, working through your ATDs and TMs to deliver this.
    • Act as the trading escalation point for the UK business - troubleshoot and provide support on high value client, commercial partnership or technical challenges.
  • Develop High Performing Teams
    • Recruit, train and retain a leading class of UK traders fit to maximize the value of MiQ’s technology and bring our UK business into more channels, formats and platforms.
    • Manage the Strategic Trading team, setting direction and managing pace and fulfilment of project scope ranging from campaign automation, best practices, templates and innovation labs.
    • Manage the Programmatic Partnerships team, set and continually refine MiQ’s strategy for DSP, SSP and Publisher prioritization, laddering to business priorities alongside client performance and supply quality.
    • Define and continually refine core trading competencies, building a culture of innovation and commercial excellence.
    • Exemplify and foster commercial acumen, bridging the gap between trading, account management, and sales teams.
  • External & Commercial Impact
    • Help localize and deliver against MiQ’s product strategy in the UK, ensuring optimal execution working closely with global product and UK media solutions teams.
    • Contribute to and join key strategic client pitches and partner days, bringing our Trading department to life in front of our key clients.
    • Represent MiQ UK in market on panels, stages and in PR opportunities - be the voice of our operations in Market.
