Job Title: Hotel Financial Controller Location: Leeds Area Job Type: Full-Time, on-site with some remote working About Us: a renowned and prestigious hotel offering exceptional services and luxurious experiences for their guests. are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Hotel Financial Controller to join the senior team and oversee the financial operations of the hotel. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment while making a significant impact on the hotel\’s financial performance. Key Responsibilities for this Hotel Financial Controller: Oversee all financial operations of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Monitor and manage cash flow, including accounts payable and receivable. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure financial controls are in place and operating efficiently. Implement and maintain hotel-specific financial processes and systems. Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement. Manage and oversee self-accounting functions, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely. Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed to the highest standards. Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and relevant regulatory requirements. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Financial Controller in the hotel industry is essential. In-depth knowledge of hotel financial operations, including self-accounting and budgeting. Strong experience with hotel management software and accounting systems. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Excellent leadership and team management capabilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
