Transport Coordinator

Transport Coordinator, Aberdeen Our client is a Global Logistics Company with their North-Sea hub based in Aberdeen. They are recruiting and additional person to the team, to help provide an outstanding logistics service to multi-client portfolio. As Transport Co-ordinator you will support the Transport Manager with the co-ordination of road shipments from start to finish, including quotation, ensuring that clients receive excellent customer service care throughout all aspects of their enquiry. You will liaise with internal & external clients for all transport related issues and bookings for Norwegian and Holland / European trailer traffic. The Transport Coordinator is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following: o Provide competitive pricing and transport solutions to clients that meets their needs o Ensuring that awarded jobs and processed and followed through to completion o Provide proactive updates to clients, resolving any issues that may arise o Billing clients as per working SOPs o Producing and completing all necessary paperwork, such as pre-alerts, CMRs o Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth running of transport service o Ensure job files are processed and completed within the TMS o Load planning for both domestic and international trailers Personal Qualities \” Willingness to learn \” Attention to detail \” Forward thinking \” Good communication skills \” Be a team player \” Good working with numbers \” Computer literate \” European and Domestic Road Freight Experience \” Dangerous Goods Knowledge
