The role offers a senior-level opportunity to lead complex rating projects, manage high-value portfolios, and contribute strategically to our national capabilities. You will advise some of the most recognizable occupiers and investors in the UK while supporting team development and innovation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead advisor on business rates strategy for major clients.
- Manage and oversee complex portfolios and appeals.
- Negotiate directly with the Valuation Office Agency.
- Coach and develop junior team members.
- Contribute to client acquisition and thought leadership.
- Drive operational excellence within the Rating team.
Qualifications:
- MRICS qualified with extensive experience in commercial rating.
- Confident negotiator with a proven track record in reducing rate liabilities.
- Trusted advisor to clients with excellent relationship management skills.
- Strong leadership credentials and ability to develop talent.
- Commercially astute, strategic thinker, and solutions-focused.
