Purpose of the Technical Coordinator

Our client is transitioning to a new ERP System whilst modernising their catalogue to support a streamlined way of working. The technical team is at the heart of this huge change and are looking for somebody to help drive the change on a fixed term contract, which could lead to a permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities for a Technical Coordinator

  • Accurately creating all items within our chosen 3D modelling software, ensuring all dimensions, attributes and appearances are accurate to the physical items and all attributes are carried through into the new ERP system.
  • Work to develop a solution to capture all group house types, and the suitable products which can be fitted within them.
  • Working with the Technical Team to create a comprehensive list of Business Rules and parameters to ensure only viable products are recommended to customers.
  • Take a leading and proactive role in solution design workshops with our external partners to ensure that the final solution will support our business needs.

Key Requirements for a Technical Coordinator

  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is critical.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, with a keen eye for accuracy.
  • Proven experience as a 3D CAD technician or a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in creating and managing Bills of Material (BOM).
  • Demonstrated ability to implement 3D drawings into business processes effectively.
  • Excellent communication & organisational skills.
  • Holistic thinker, with experience in solving large, implementation-based problems.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to problem solve and pro-actively drive this change within the department.
