We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of six vibrant wet-led venues with event spaces. Our venues operate on an 80/20 wet-to-food split, offering high-quality drinks alongside select food offerings.

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations across all sites, driving commercial performance, maintaining compliance, and leading a team of General Managers and operational staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership
    • Oversee all daily operations across six venues, ensuring alignment with brand standards and company policies.
    • Hold venue GMs and teams accountable for performance in F&B, events, security, cleaning, compliance, maintenance, and venue standards.
    • Drive continuous improvement, setting high operational benchmarks and exceeding sales targets.
  • Team Management & Development
    • Line-manage and mentor venue GMs and operational teams, identifying skills gaps and fostering growth.
    • Promote a culture of excellence through coaching, development opportunities, and succession planning.
  • Financial & Strategic Oversight
    • Manage budgets approved by senior leadership, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.
    • Translate business strategy into actionable operational plans, implementing short- and long-term initiatives.
  • Compliance & Safety
    • Champion compliance in health & safety, food safety, fire safety, licensing, and ACT training.
    • Ensure all venues adhere to legal and company policies, mitigating risks and maintaining high standards.
  • Customer & Event Excellence
    • Uphold outstanding customer service and satisfaction across all venues.
    • Support the planning and execution of events, ensuring smooth operations and memorable experiences.
  • Culture & Representation
    • Lead by example, embodying company values and fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
    • Represent the Operations team in meetings, providing updates and strategic insights.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Area Manager, or Multi-Site Hospitality Leader in wet-led venues, bars, or event spaces.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls and budgets.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Deep knowledge of compliance, health & safety, and licensing regulations in the hospitality sector.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Passion for hospitality, customer service, and creating outstanding guest experiences.
