We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established family-run client, who is in the market for an electrical field service engineer to support ongoing growth. The role centres around the servicing, installation and maintenance of industrial pumps and associated equipment. Unlike most Field Service roles, this role offers the luxury of favourable working hours and the ability to be home every night. This role is suited to a self-motivated, flexible individual who understands the demands of a field service position. Ideal candidates will possess a strong electrical skillset, with prior experience in electrical fault finding and installation. Previous field service experience is preferred. Pumps repair experience is highly desirable, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues with equipment and controls.
- Conduct installations and removals of relevant equipment and instrumentation.
- Analyse breakdown causes, suggesting improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Provide 24/7 emergency cover on a rotational basis.
Your reward for this role is a competitive salary of £40k per annum, a company van, life assurance, standard pension contributions, and ongoing personal development, with an OTE of up to £55k per annum.
