Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estimator with a background in cladding, curtain walling, re-cladding, and roofing systems to support our pre-construction team. This is a key role in helping the business secure and deliver profitable projects through accurate and timely cost estimates. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for façade packages including cladding, curtain walling, re-cladding, and roofing. * Review project drawings, specifications, and scope documentation to assess materials, labour, and time requirements. * Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and assess technical compliance. * Evaluate and interpret technical designs to support value engineering and cost-effective solutions. * Work closely with commercial, design, and project management teams throughout the tender process. * Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits as required. * Monitor and track bid progress, ensuring submissions are completed to deadlines. * Maintain and update estimating tools, databases, and cost libraries. Requirements * Proven experience as an Estimator within the building envelope industry, with a strong understanding of cladding, curtain walling, roofing, and re-cladding. * Familiarity with façade systems, building regulations, and fire safety compliance. * Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. * Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. * Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders simultaneously. * Full UK driving licence preferred due to occasional site visits.
